Grenier

When we moved in, the grenier (attic) was an unfinished space, which had once harbored livestock, accessible by a ladder from outside, with a wood floor covered in two feet of dirt and straw, and light shining in through gaps in the roof tiles. We added an indoor staircase, rebar concrete and tile floor, and a dormer window in the rear, put in a bathroom at one end, and turned the rest into a bedroom and sitting room.
